Why this one

The case for this one.

  • The current Jumbo, 39mm and 8.1mm thin end to end.
  • Slate grey smoked dial, the shade tied to the model's 50th anniversary.
  • In-house calibre 7121, visible through a sapphire back.

The Jumbo Extra-Thin is the Royal Oak as Gerald Genta first drew it, 39mm across and barely thicker than a coin, and it remains the reference Audemars Piguet struggles to keep in stock. The calibre 7121 replaced the older 2121 in 2019 while holding the same slender case proportions. This slate grey dial belongs to the generation introduced for the model's 50th anniversary, and it wears with the quiet authority the original defined.
