Why this one

The case for this one.

  • The Royal Oak's chronograph in its most balanced size, 41mm.
  • Tri-compax layout on a blue Grande Tapisserie dial.
  • Self-winding calibre 2385, column wheel and flyback.

The 26331ST took the Royal Oak Chronograph from 39mm to 41mm and gave it a cleaner three-register dial, and it has been the reference collectors chase since. Under the case back, the calibre 2385 combines a column wheel with a flyback function, finished to AP's usual standard. The blue Grande Tapisserie dial catches light in a way the original 1972 sports watch never quite could.
